This notice explains how Taha Bozdemir, as data controller, processes personal data while providing Linktny.

Data we process

For account holders we process email address, password hash, security/session records, created links and preferences. Link records contain target/short URL and timestamps. Click statistics contain time, bot classification and referring domain; the visitor's IP is not stored in click records. Security/server logs may temporarily contain IP addresses.

Purposes and legal grounds

Data is processed to perform the service contract, meet legal duties, secure the service and prevent abuse, establish or defend rights, and—where required—based on consent for advertising cookies.

Retention and recipients

Detailed click records are retained for up to 90 days; expired anonymous links are deleted after an additional 30 days. Account data is retained while the account exists and for applicable statutory periods. Data may be shared only as necessary with hosting, email, security and advertising providers, authorised authorities and advisers. International transfers use safeguards required by applicable law.

Cookies and advertising

Essential cookies support authentication, security, language and consent preferences. When advertising is enabled, Google advertising loads only after permission.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request information, access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, learn recipients and seek compensation for unlawful processing. Send verifiable requests to contact@linktny.com. You may also complain to the competent authority.

This notice is updated when company details, providers or processing activities change.
